It consists of digitally printed translucent graphics that are illuminated with opal acrylic faces.We use either Plexi-Glass ,Perspex or Signage grade acrylic. LIGHT BOXES WITH MODERN LED TECHNOLOGY
The most common type of light box is single sided, but it can also be made double-sided and mounted as a so-called projecting sign protruding from the façade. They have traditionally been illuminated with fluorescent lights, but nowadays we equip most of our light boxes with LED technology. LED technology is significantly more energy efficient and has a longer service life than fluorescent lamps and the box can be made a lot thinner. There are a number of different variations on how the sign’s front can be designed:
- Foil acrylic
- Painted sheet metal with cut-out/protruding letters
- Printed canvas if the light box is really big
- Form or vacuum-pressed acrylic
Light boxes can be used in both outdoor and indoor environments. Their simple design means that production costs can be lower than when you produce profile lettering, for example.
When working with light box signs in large series, we can develop fronts that are form or vacuum-pressed in acrylic plastic. This sign type is very flexible and we are happy to help you to find the right sign with the right design and the right technology.
